The Liberal party recently has been projecting itself as a champion of human rights in the Philippines. They have rallied behind the death of a minor, inflated death toll figures in the war on drugs and exploited the issue of a Php 1,000 budget for the Commission on Human rights.
They cry foul claiming that the Duterte administration has shown that it does not value human rights in the country and they are trying to rally the opposition behind the Liberal party banner. The Liberal party machinery is in full force trying to ramp up support for their continued attempt to unseat Duterte. The Liberal party machinery, supported by the fake-news media outlets of Rappler, ABS-CBN and GMA, are trying to stir up anger among Filipinos and portraying themselves as champions of Human Rights. The yellowtards and their minons eat up this Liberal Party lie without any questions but we Dutertards know better.
Let me share to you the truth about the Liberal Party’s Human Rights record during the AbNoy Administration.

As you can see, a lot of the things they are complaining about today – EJK, attacks against media, attacks agains Indigenous people, abuse by paramilitary units, etc have been rampant ever since the AbNoy administration. They make it appear as if these are all new to the Duterte administration and that the country’s only hope is with the Liberal party. The truth of the matter is that the Liberal party never gave a shit about Human Rights because they were in power. They cry foul about Executive power overreach now that there is an impeachment complaint against Chief Justice Sereno but they too impeached a Chief Justice. The way they impeached Corona was the clearest example of Executive overreach and abuse of power – the Executive branch literally paid the Senate to impeach Corona! Have we forgotten about DAP?
The only thing the Liberal party has right now are stories they try to weave together to fit their carefully crafted narrative. They have an attach dog in Trollanes who is very fond of making up allegations and causing drama. He is obviously using the Senate as a bully pulpit and destroying the very little integrity and decency the Senate has left with all his fantastical allegations and double speak. Does the Liberal party do anything about Trollanes? Does the Liberal party complain about Trollanes’ making false accusations about everyone he does not agree with? The same Liberal Party who constantly complains about being “wrongfully” accused of destabilization. They don’t stop Trollanes because he is useful to them for now.
Do not believe for one second that the Liberal party is truly concerned about Human Rights – all they are concerned about is getting back in power. They will spin as much lies as they need to in order to get a coherent opposition to the Duterte administration going. Try as they may, they will fail. They will fail because a story built on lies and dead bodies swept under the rug will never last. Sooner or later the stink of the dead will come out and the people will wake up.
