The New People’s Army terrorist group has once again attacked the civilian population. This time, they burned down 10 heavy equipment vehicles performing a major government infrastructure project. Their cowardly and blatant attack has stalled this major infrastructure project that would benefit the civilian population. This recent attack is part of the NPA terror group’s strategy in ensuring that the civilian population remains scared of them.
When Duterte came into power, the NPA has betrayed the trust and good faith of this administration in every opportunity it gets. They have never had an administration more open and willing to negotiate peace. Instead of reciprocating this good will and trust with good will on their part, the NPA instead started demanding more and more concessions from the government without doing anything on their end. To the NPA and its supporters, the fact that they came to the negotiating table was enough good will gesture on their part and they wanted the government to give in to all their demands from then on. No reasonable negotiator from the government’s side would have agreed to all their demands and the NPA knew this. As soon as they appeared relevant again in Philippine domestic politics, they showed their true extremist nature. They found an excuse to be belligerent and started to resume their attacks on our troops and the civilian population even as the negotiation was on going.
Now that the NPA has been branded as a terrorist group by the government, there is no reason for the government to go back to the negotiation table with these cockroaches. Their continued and sustained attack against civilian population and infrastructure is a clear sign that the NPA will not stop its offensive. It is time for the government to once and for all completely eliminate the NPA leadership and its command structure. Freeze the assets of all known NPA and CPP sympathizers and sustain the offensive on the ground against the NPA. Keep the opportunity for its soldiers to surrender and reintegrate but do not allow the NPA to breathe and regroup on the ground. Flush these cockroaches out of the jungle and make sure they never get a chance to exert any influence in our country.
The Philippine government should do everything in its powers to make sure Joma Sison never sets foot in this country and to make sure we explore all possible avenues to send him to jail. He calls himself a revolutionary but he is nothing but a coward! He lives comfortably in the Netherlands, enjoying the protection of a Western country, while people who have been blinded by ideologies he no longer lives by are fighting his fight. This old fool can’t even fight his own revolution anymore and he obviously does not have control of the NPA on the ground. He is an irrelevant political player in the country who is deranged enough to think that his ideology still matters.
Here are some pictures of Joma Sison continuing his fight for his revolutionary ideology.
