MOM’S WARNING: Baby Almost Got Killed After Being Kissed in the Lips and it Could Happen to Yours!

A new mom has warned parents not to let anyone kiss their newborn babies on the mouth, when her newborn baby nearly died after receiving a kiss from a visitor shortly after her birth.

Claire Handerson her newborn baby Broke was forced to spend five days in the hospital with horrific sores, she posted a heartfelt message on Facebook to warn other parents.

“Cold sores can be fatal to a baby,” according to her Facebook post, “Before three months old a baby cannot fight the herpes virus. If a baby contracts this it can cause liver and brain damage and lead to death.”


At only one-month-old, Brooke had many people visit her after her birth, and according to Henderson, received kisses from them.

Broke was rushed to the hospital immediately after Handerson noticed the blisters. Doctors said that the symptoms were caught early, and could have easily spread or advanced to “severe neurological disease”, and even death.
