President Duterte recently confirmed, in no uncertain terms, that he will not tolerate police or military personnel who kill innocent civilians.
“If you keep on killing people tapos (then) it becomes a popular notion, huwag mo gawin ‘yun, especially if papalusot ka na, ‘Ito sir, drug pusher ito.’ Sabi ko, I’ve been mayor for 23 years, do not – talagang hihiritan kita. Putangina, babarilin kita,” he added.”
Duterte critics have been accusing him of being a murderer and for coddling dirty police and military personnel. They claim that Duterte is sanctioning extrajudicial killings by protecting abusive police and military personnel. This statement should make it clear to everyone that Duterte hates abusive people who are in power or authority.
This statement should serve as a warning to all ninja cops out there. Duterte has revived the public’s respect for people in uniform. Do not shit on it because you will not have a commander in chief as loyal and as supportive as Duterte is to you. Give him your loyalty and respect and he will do everything he can to make your job easier. Betray his trust by betraying the public and he will shoot you himself.
