After President Rodrigo Duterte congratulated the newly elected President Donald Trump on his election victory during a visit to Malaysia, he also said that he and Donald Trump are “alike” as they both love to swear.
Now, America’s President-elect Donald Trump has expressed his wishes, saying he would wish to be a hardworking like Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte who according him he’s fulfilling what he promised during campaigns.
“I want to be like Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, a hardworker and an intelligent man. He’s fulfilling what he promised, and I will fulfill what I promised the Americans,” Trump said.
“Duterte is my friend, I will work with him and indeed I’m going to fight drug-lords not only in Philippines but also in the whole world, we are going to restore our good relationship with the Philippines,” he added. He also added that he is ready to reclaim the relationship of United States and Philippines which has been put to strain during the previous administration.
